What is València contra el Càncer
València contra el Càncer is a solidarity event that fills Valencia’s streets with colour and hope every October. In its eleventh edition, the event combines sport and solidarity with a 6-kilometre route through the heart of the city. Part of the RunCáncer circuit, organised by the Asociación Contra el Cáncer Valencia, its goal is to raise funds for oncology research projects. In 2025, over 20,300 participants raised a record €101,520, reflecting the city’s commitment to this cause.
Activities and route
The day includes several activities for all ages:
- Popular race: 6 kilometres through Valencia’s streets.
- Walk: same distance, at your own pace.
- Nordic walk: with poles.
- Popular skating: for skaters.
- Activities at the finish line: entertainment and celebration zone.
The start and finish will be at Paseo de la Alameda, between Puente de l’Exposició and Puente de les Flors (Rita Barberá), an iconic stretch of the city.
Schedule and participation
The event will begin at 8:30 AM and run until 1:00 PM. This is not a traditional competition but a day to enjoy sport while supporting a good cause. Registration is mandatory, and all proceeds will go to oncology research.
How to get involved
