Public parking

Public parking in Valencia

If you arrive by car, what you need is not a cold list: it's knowing where there is a space now. Here you get Valencia City Council public car parks with live occupancy, and the map to see them across the city. Free, no sign-up, nothing to install.

Free spaces in real time

Each car park in the list and on the map can show free and total spaces when the municipal geoportal publishes them. Data refreshes every few minutes, so you can choose where to head before driving around.

If a car park doesn't report occupancy, we say so: it's still a public car park, just without a live figure at that moment.

How to use the parking map

On the transport map choose Parking mode. You'll see public car parks marked in blue; tap one for address and free spaces when available. You can locate yourself to see the nearest ones.

Public parking vs blue zone and booking apps

These are municipal public car parks with open data — not on-street blue-zone parking or private booking apps (Parclick, ElParking and the like). You don't reserve here: you check availability and find the car park. To pay or book with a specific operator, use their official channel.

If you'd rather not park in the centre

Valencia works well by EMT bus, metro, taxi and Valenbisi. Leaving the car outside or in a car park and continuing by public transport is often faster than hunting for a space in Ciutat Vella. Pair this list with the transport map and the getting-around guides.

FAQ

Where are public car parks in Valencia?

There is a network of municipal public car parks across the city. On this page you see the full list, and on the transport map their location with free spaces when available.

Can I see free spaces in real time?

Yes, when the City Council geoportal publishes occupancy. We show free and total spaces; if a car park doesn't report, we say so.

Is this the official City Council website?

No. ConoceValencia is an independent, non-profit project that uses official open data to present it more clearly.

Do I need to sign up or pay?

No. Checking the list and map is free with no sign-up. Parking itself is paid at the car park according to its tariff.

What if a car park doesn't show free spaces?

Some don't report live occupancy. They still appear on the map and in the list; only the space count is missing at that moment.
