Terms of use
Terms of use
These terms govern the use of ConoceValencia: the conocevalencia.es website and the mobile app for Android and iOS. By using the site or the app you accept these conditions, together with the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy. Last updated: 12 August 2026.
1. The service
ConoceValencia is a free information service about transport, bikes, events and the Fallas in València. It offers maps, timetables, stops, lines and an events calendar, and optionally lets you create an account to save favourites. It is available as a website and as a mobile app for Android and iOS, which adds live navigation, widgets and the option to add events to your calendar.
2. Using the service
You can use the website and download and use the app freely and free of charge to consult the information. You do not need to register to access most of the content.
3. Your account
Registration is optional and lets you save favourites and sync them across devices: it is the same account on the website and in the app. You can create an account with your email and a password, or through Google sign-in.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity carried out from your account. You must provide accurate information and a valid email, and be over 14 years old (or have the authorisation required by law).
4. Acceptable use
When using the service, whether on the website or in the app, and especially the feedback panel, you undertake not to:
- Submit unlawful, offensive or defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Impersonate other people or provide false information.
- Carry out mass or automated data extraction, overload the service or attempt to access others' areas or accounts.
- Introduce malicious software or interfere with the operation of the site.
5. The mobile app
We grant you a personal, free, revocable and non-exclusive right to install and use the app on your devices. You may not decompile, modify, redistribute or publish it as your own, beyond what the law mandatorily allows. Downloading and updates are additionally governed by the terms of the store you install it from (Google Play or the App Store).
Some features request system permissions (location, calendar and notifications). They are optional: if you deny them, the app still works and those features will ask you to enter the details manually. You can revoke them at any time in your device settings. Details of what data we process with each permission are in the Privacy Policy.
Live navigation, the alight and transfer alerts and real-time arrival times are indicative: they depend on GPS signal, network coverage and third-party data that can fail or arrive late. They do not replace your own attention or the operator's official information, so pay attention to your surroundings, to signage and to service staff, and do not handle your phone while driving. Tracking during a trip consumes battery and data.
We may release updates and, when a service change makes it necessary, require a minimum app version in order to keep using it.
6. Feedback and content you submit
When you send us suggestions or reports through the feedback panel, you grant us permission to use them in order to handle your message and improve the service, without this entitling you to any compensation. You are responsible for the content you submit.
7. Accuracy of information
Information about transport, events and Fallas comes from third-party sources (open data, venues, public feeds) and is provided for guidance and “as is”. We do not guarantee its accuracy, availability or currency; always confirm important details with official sources before travelling or attending an event.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design and original content of ConoceValencia belong to the owner. Third-party data and the trademarks cited belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce or exploit the site beyond its normal use without authorisation.
9. Service availability
We strive to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions, maintenance or changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or withdraw features.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service or from decisions made based on the information published.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your profile or by writing to us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
12. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms to adapt them to service or legal changes. We will always publish the current version on this page, together with its last-updated date.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts of Valencia (Spain), unless applicable consumer law establishes another venue. If you have any questions, write to us at contacto@conocevalencia.es.
