Where to catch a taxi in Valencia
You can take a taxi at any signposted rank, hail one in the street when its green light is on, or book it by phone or app. The transport map shows the taxi ranks with their location.
Taxi fares in Valencia
- Official fares set by the Valencian regional government, the same in all 42 towns of the Valencia area: in 2026, a €2.00 flag fall and €1.36/km by day, and €2.60 and €1.48/km at night, on Saturdays and holidays.
- Surcharges: €5.40 from the airport, €2.95 from the port or Feria Valencia ranks and €3.00 on Fallas nights, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Luggage is free.
- There are no fixed prices: you pay what the meter shows, and the meter is mandatory.
- Every taxi carries a card reader.
