The ConoceValencia app for iPhone and Android
ConoceValencia is a free app for getting around Valencia: real-time arrivals for EMT buses, the metro and Cercanías trains, Valenbisi, the events calendar and cinema listings, with home-screen widgets and alerts when your bus is coming. It's the same app on the App Store and Google Play, in five languages and with no sign-up.
What's in the app
Everything the website has, made for your phone:
- Real-time transport: arrivals for EMT buses, the metro and tram, Cercanías trains and MetroBús, with the map of lines and stops.
- Valenbisi: available bikes and free docks at every station.
- Directions: public transport routes and live navigation that tells you when to get off or change.
- Events calendar and cinema listings: concerts, culture, matches and films, with directions to every venue.
- Favourites synced with your account: the same on the website, on iPhone and on Android.
- Assistant: ask in your own words what to do or how to get there and it answers with plans and routes.
What only the app has
The website is for looking things up; the app also alerts you and is one tap away:
- Home-screen widgets with the next arrivals at your stop, the bikes at your station or the free spaces in a car park.
- Arrival alarms: choose the stop, the line and how many minutes ahead, and your phone alerts you.
- “My train”, daily summaries for a stop at the time you choose, and alerts for films, events and car parks.
- Add an event to your phone's calendar with one tap.
Requirements and languages
It works on iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later and on Android phones with Android 7.0 or later. It's in Spanish, Valencian, English, Italian and French, like the website. Both versions have the same features.
Free, with Plus if you want more
The app is free, has no ads and doesn't ask you to sign up. An account, also free, syncs your favourites between the website and your phone. ConoceValencia Plus is an optional subscription that extends the assistant and alerts; you subscribe inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play. Frequently asked questions
Is the app free?
Yes. It's a free download on the App Store and Google Play, has no ads and doesn't require an account. There's an optional subscription, ConoceValencia Plus, that extends the assistant and alerts; everything else is free.
Is there an iPhone version?
Yes. Since 14 October 2026 the app has been on the App Store for iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later. It's the same app as on Android, with the same features.
What's the difference between the app and the website?
The website is for looking things up in your browser, with nothing to install. The app adds home-screen widgets, arrival alarms and alerts, and live navigation that tells you when to get off.
Can I use the same account on the website and in the app?
Yes. It's the same account on the website, on iPhone and on Android: your favourites and Plus follow you everywhere. On iPhone you can also sign in with Apple.
I'd added the website to my home screen. What should I do?
Download the app and delete that icon: the website can no longer be installed as an app, and the app opens faster and has widgets and alerts. If you were signed in, your favourites are still in your account.
