A race for future marathon runners
The Mini Marathon Valencia MSC is the children’s version of the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich Marathon, organised by SD Correcaminos. This non-competitive event is designed for boys and girls aged 0 to 13, aiming to promote sport and family participation in a festive atmosphere. The race takes place the day before the main marathon, on Saturday 5 December 2026, along Paseo de La Alameda, between the Monteolivete and L’Assut de L’Or bridges.
Categories and timings
Starts are staggered by age group, with distances adapted for each category:
- U14 (2012/2013): 1200 m at 11:00 AM (160 places).
- U12 (2014/2015): 1200 m at 11:10 AM (260 places).
- U10 (2016/2017): 600 m at 11:20 AM (260 places).
- U8 (2018/2019): 600 m at 11:30 AM (260 places).
- Under 6s (2020/2025): 300 m at 11:50 AM (260 places).
All participants receive a commemorative medal and a mini runner’s goody bag. Registration costs €3, with proceeds going to the Fundación Pequeño Deseo, and is now closed for this edition.
