On 18 October 2026, Valencia hosts the eleventh edition of València contra el Càncer, a solidarity event organised by the Asociación Contra el Càncer València that combines sport, awareness, and fundraising for cancer research. Starting at Paseo de la Alameda (between Puente de l’Exposició and Puente de les Flors), the day offers activities for all ages and fitness levels.
Programme and schedule
The morning kicks off at 08:30 with the main 6 km race, followed by non-competitive options:
- 09:45: Popular skate.
- 10:00: Nordic walk.
- 10:05: Walk.
- 11:15-12:00: Free Master Fitness session at the finish line, led by Calderona Wellness. No prior registration required.
Registration and prices
Participation requires a bib number, with a minimum cost of €5 (plus online processing fees). Registrations are made via the event’s official website. All proceeds go directly to cancer research projects.

In 2025, the previous edition brought together over 20,300 participants and raised €101,520, record figures that highlight the city’s commitment to this cause. The event is part of the RunCáncer circuit, a national initiative by the Asociación Contra el Càncer to promote sport as a tool for funding and awareness.
