The Museu Ceràmica offers free theatrical tours at the Palau de Dosaigües, where Na Carmen Puigmoltó and her butler Ponciano guide visitors through the palace as it prepares for its grand inauguration ball in 1867. Aimed at children aged 3 and up, accompanied by adults.

What are the theatrical visits

The Palau de Dosaigües, home to the Museu Ceràmica, transforms into a living stage where visitors are welcomed by Na Carmen Puigmoltó i Mayans Pérez i Enríquez de Navarra, wife of the VII Marquis of Dosaigües, and her butler Ponciano. Both characters, dressed in period attire, recreate the preparations for the palace’s grand inauguration ball, which took place on 17 May 1867. Through friendly dialogue and anecdotes, the guides invite the public to explore the halls, décor, and architectural details of the building, as if they were special guests at the event.

Who are they aimed at

These visits are designed for children aged 3 and up, always accompanied by adults. The interaction with the characters and the adapted language make the experience accessible and entertaining for the youngest visitors, while adults can appreciate the historical and artistic richness of the palace.

Schedule and access

The visits are free, but advance booking is required via the museum’s website or at the ticket office. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and is conducted in small groups to ensure a close and participatory experience.
