A fusion of theatre, dance and science
El bar de las emociones is a production by Ciencia Escénica premiering at Sala Big Bang in Valencia. The show is based on CSIC research analysing dancers' movements and linking them to physical principles such as interference, the Doppler effect and resonance. These concepts are woven into the narrative through dance, music and performance, creating a spectacle that explores emotions from both a scientific and artistic perspective.
The cast features five performers —Alba García, Miguel López, Sara Ramos, Pablo Martínez and Lucía Sánchez— who use their bodies and the stage space to convey stories without conventional dialogue. The plot unfolds in a fictional bar where every gesture and object triggers a different emotion.
