Acrobatics, Humour, and Risk with Wilbur
Piensa en Wilbur is the one-man show by Víctor Ortiz, an artist who combines artistic gymnastics, circus, and humour in a daring and technical performance. The show is part of the Dutxa Emerging Theatre Showcase at La Rambleta on 23 and 24 October 2026, with performances at 7:00 PM (Friday) and 7:30 PM (Saturday). A post-show talk will follow each performance.
Show Details
The performance lasts 70 minutes and is suitable for all audiences. Wilbur, accompanied by his characters Contractura, Tirón, and Desgarro, creates impossible situations with an extraordinary physical technique. Tickets cost €16, plus a €2 booking fee if purchased online. No need to print your ticket—it can be validated using the QR code sent by email.
Wilbur’s Career
Víctor Ortiz (Alicante, 1981) began in artistic gymnastics at the age of five, competing alongside figures like Gervasio Deferr. Though he nearly joined the CAR in Madrid, he chose circus instead, performing as an acrobat with Cirque du Soleil. His stage name, Wilbur, was coined minutes before a performance in Elche. With over 900,000 followers on social media, this is his first solo show.
