Museo Nacional de Cerámica González Martí

Poeta Querol, 2, 46002, Valencia

The González Martí National Museum of Ceramics occupies the Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas, the one with the alabaster portal carved by Ignacio Vergara around 1740 to a design by Hipólito Rovira. It opened in 1954 with the collection donated by Manuel González Martí: ceramics from Paterna, Manises and Alcora, pieces Picasso dedicated to the museum, the palace's period rooms and the marquises' carriages. It runs pottery-wheel workshops, dramatised tours and lectures.
