What’s being performed
El judici a Carlos Mazón que mai voràs is a political and community theatre piece that brings to the stage the public’s demands regarding the management of the October 2024 DANA. Driven by neighbourhood collectives and artists, the production aims to reflect the voices of those who experienced the emergency first-hand, from those affected to volunteers. This is not a real judicial representation but a theatrical creation using drama as a tool for protest and reflection.
Who’s performing
The project is a collaboration between three organisations:
- Koordinadora de Kolectivos Parke Alcosa: a neighbourhood platform that has led mobilisations in areas affected by the DANA.
- Atirohecho: a political theatre company with previous works on social and current affairs.
- Barret: an audiovisual cooperative documenting community initiatives.
No details have been provided about the cast or whether neighbours or witnesses will participate in the performance.
