What’s on display
«Allò que el teixit no oblida» is a tactile installation created by Las Ganchilleras Luchadoras de La Reina, turning memory into a crochet book. Knots, threads, and wool evoke the past without words—it’s felt, touched, and resonates like a song woven into the fabric. The exhibition is the first volume of a project exploring collective memory through textile art.
Who’s involved
The collective Las Ganchilleras Luchadoras de La Reina—made up of local women from the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighborhood—is behind this work. Centre Cultural La Reina 121, managed by Pro21cultural, hosts the exhibition as part of its community programming, designed to encourage citizen participation and social fabric in the area.
Access and requirements
Entry is free and no reservation is needed. The exhibition is open to all ages with no restrictions.
