What is Musas
Musas is a community scenic workshop in its third edition at the Centre Cultural La Reina 121. A group of women, coordinated by artist Yolanda Gómez, works over nine sessions to turn personal experiences into scenic creations. The project is free and has limited capacity, aimed at women aged 18+ with prior registration required via email (cclareina121@gmail.com).
How to participate
The activity is free, but access is subject to registration until capacity is reached. Interested participants should email cclareina121@gmail.com. The workshop is part of the centre’s autumn programme, which promotes community culture in the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighbourhood. It is not specified whether sessions are open to the public or for participants only.
Objective and approach
According to the organisers, Musas aims to create a space for “creation, connection, and complicity” among women in constant evolution. The approach is collective: participants explore scenic languages—such as theatre, movement, or oral storytelling—to shape their experiences. The Centre Cultural La Reina 121, managed by Pro21cultural under a community model, prioritises projects that strengthen the neighbourhood’s social fabric.
