What the workshop offers
The workshop with Roser López Espinosa at Espai LaGranja is a practical contemporary dance session focused on movement research and stage creation. According to the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC), the activity is part of the Circuit Cultural Valencià and is aimed at professionals and students in the performing arts. Roser López Espinosa, a choreographer with an international career, proposes an intensive work space to explore floor techniques, partnering, and choreographic composition.
Who leads the workshop
Roser López Espinosa is an award-winning choreographer and dancer, recipient of the MAX 2026 Award for Best Dance Cast for her work FAULA and the Best Choreography Award at the XXII Premis de la Crítica de Catalunya for Trama. She has created pieces for the Producció Nacional de Dansa and international companies such as Skånes Dansteater (Sweden) and Scottish Dance Theater (UK). Her work Cometa, co-produced with Vorpommern tanzt an (Germany), has surpassed 200 performances on its world tour.
