What’s on display
The exhibition «Un día... Obra gráfica de Dani Torrent» brings together unseen drawings and a selection of artistic prints that explore intimacy, affection, and relationships between men. The works capture everyday scenes—glances, embraces, spontaneous gestures—where emotion and physical closeness build a visual universe full of nuances. With free strokes and vibrant colours, Torrent reflects joy, desire, vulnerability, and melancholy, celebrating the beauty of seemingly simple moments: the trust of touch, the tranquillity of sharing a space, or the intimacy of a shared instant.
According to Estudio 64, the pieces on display include originals in dry techniques, pencil, and pastel on paper, and interact with each other to offer different approaches to this affective universe. Many of the prints are part of the editorial project Un día, dos semanas, tres meses, which lends its name to the exhibition.
Technique and style
Dani Torrent uses an expressive and personal language, free from stereotypes, to portray the emotional diversity in human relationships. His illustrations, developed for press and advertising, stand out for the spontaneity of gestures and the ability to suggest complete stories in seemingly simple scenes. The exhibition offers a luminous perspective on love between men, understood as an everyday experience full of nuances.
