Five drive-ins in images
On 24 September 2026, the bookshop-photography gallery Railowsky will inaugurate Weekend, an exhibition by Gala Font de Mora featuring photographs of five of the six drive-ins still operating in Spain. The project focuses on these spaces, typically located near the coast and surrounded by vegetation, where the artist captures both their architecture and the people who visit them: spectators, workers, and the communities that form around screenings.

Font de Mora documents the corners, projector light, and audience reactions inside the cars, exploring the relationship between the individual and the screen. The images also reflect the overgrown vegetation in these spaces, an element that, along with artificial lighting, defines their atmosphere.
The exhibition opens at 20:30 with a presentation by the artist. Entry is free, and it will be available during Railowsky’s opening hours. No closing date has been specified.
