What’s being screened
«Snatch. Cerdos y diamantes» is the Guy Ritchie film that Cines Lys is bringing back to the big screen as part of its classic film screenings, starring Brad Pitt and packed with dark humour, as described by the cinema itself. The session will be shown in original subtitled version (VOSE).
What it’s about
«Snatch» follows Franky, a diamond thief who must deliver a valuable stone to his boss, Avi. Before he can do so, a man named Boris convinces him to bet on an illegal boxing match, which turns out to be a trap to steal the diamond. When Avi finds out, he hires Tony to track down Franky and the gem. From there, the search spirals into a chaotic chain of deceit, blackmail, and fraud, involving dogs, boxers, diamonds, and all kinds of weapons.
Session context
The re-release of «Snatch. Cerdos y diamantes» comes after the film was also screened in Cines Lys’s #CitaaCiegas cycle, where the cinema programmes titles without announcing them in advance. This time, the screening is openly advertised as a re-release for those who missed it before or want to see it again.
