What is Penja’m
Penja’m is a live interdisciplinary improvisation jam that fuses electroacoustic music, contemporary dance, audiovisuals and lighting design without a script or hierarchies. Col·lectiu Penja’m, the resident collective at Centre Cultural La Reina 121, opens the session to creators and the public to explore spontaneous connections between disciplines. According to the venue’s programme, it is part of the inaugural performing arts season at La Reina 121, a municipal space managed by Pro21cultural with a community focus.
Timing and access
The session is scheduled for 19 September 2026 at 20:00. Entry is free but requires collecting an invitation in the 30 minutes prior to the start until capacity is reached. There is no age restriction: it is open to all audiences.
Programme and format
The jam does not follow a predetermined programme. According to sources such as Valencia Plaza, the event is part of a programme that includes theatre, performative lectures and acoustic concerts, suggesting an experimental and collaborative approach. Real-time improvisation defines the structure, with active participation from attendees in collective creation.
