What’s on display
The exhibition «Exposición de bordado palestino» brings together embroideries created by participants in the tatreez workshops—traditional Palestinian embroidery—held at the Centre Cultural Escorxador. According to the centre’s schedule, these workshops explored the craft techniques of the West Bank and occupied territories as a way to reflect on the resilience of the Palestinian people. The displayed pieces are the result of sessions held between January and March 2026, featuring geometric and symbolic motifs typical of this textile tradition.
Inauguration with Palestinian music
The exhibition opens with a recital of Palestinian songs by Salma Alhakim, accompanied on guitar by Alejandro. The event, free and with no need for reservations, will serve both as a presentation of the embroideries and as a tribute to Palestinian culture through music.
Opening hours and access
The exhibition can be visited at the Centre Cultural Escorxador during the centre’s regular opening hours. Entry is free and requires no prior registration, unlike the embroidery workshops, which do require booking via email.
