What is Open de Comedia
Open de Comedia is an open mic format where new and experienced comedians take the stage at Centre Cultural Escorxador to share monologues, anecdotes, and live humour. Each session is unique, with the spontaneity and audience interaction that defines stand-up comedy. Entry is free and open to those aged 16 and over, as per the organisers.
Who’s performing
The 22 November 2026 session will be hosted by Rocío Ladrón de Guevara, though the open format allows other comedians—both emerging and established—to participate. No further artists are confirmed, but the event is designed to showcase different voices in Valencian comedy.
Access and requirements
Entry is free and no prior booking is required, though the Centre Cultural Escorxador has limited capacity. The event is recommended for ages 16 and over. The venue, located in the Cabanyal-Canyamelar neighbourhood, is a free-access cultural space hosting activities like workshops, theatre, and talks.
