What is Les Nereides
Les Nereides is a weekly choral workshop organised by Cor de Dones del Cabanyal at the Centre Cultural La Reina 121. The group, made up of women from the neighbourhood, meets every Thursday to perform traditional melodies that, according to local tradition, have captivated sailors and residents of Cabanyal. The workshop is part of the centre’s regular programme, focused on community culture and neighbourhood participation.
Who takes part
The workshop is open to women aged 18 and over, with no prior choral singing experience required. Cor de Dones del Cabanyal, a resident collective at La Reina 121, promotes this activity as a space for creativity and connection among local women. No prior registration is needed, though capacity may be limited by the venue’s size.
Schedule and access
