What the workshop offers
Club amfibi is a family activity that invites children aged 3 to 6 to discover the IVAM as a living, transformable space. Using the metaphor of amphibians—creatures that inhabit both land and water—participants will explore the museum through movement, observation of artworks, and collective creation. Designed by the Massa Salvatge cooperative, the workshop takes children on a journey from the larval stage to building an imaginary ecosystem where bodies with legs, without wings, with skin or scales can coexist. The activity combines art, education, and play to foster creativity and connection with the environment.
Who organises it
The Massa Salvatge cooperative is a Valencian collective specialising in art and education from an "anti-adultist" perspective. Their work focuses on the rights and needs of children, using artistic tools, cultural mediation, and participatory education. The group integrates cultural management, training, and research to create accessible pedagogical experiences, such as this workshop at IVAM.
