What we’re reading
The book club La Reina 121 will analyse a historical novel following the journey of two women whose friendship unfolds in a constantly evolving world. Selected by coordinator Constanza Riverá, the book explores personal bonds and social contexts through a narrative blending fiction and history. The session is aimed at over-18s and encourages debate and collective reflection.
How to take part
The event is free but requires advance registration by emailing cclareina121@gmail.com until capacity is reached. The Centre Cultural La Reina 121, managed by Pro21cultural, promotes these gatherings as part of its community-driven cultural model, where the neighbourhood actively shapes the programme. While the session duration isn’t specified, the centre’s book clubs typically last between 90 and 120 minutes.
Access and requirements
Entry is free and open to all, though capacity is limited. Priority is given to residents of Cabanyal-Canyamelar, but anyone interested is welcome. Under-18s are not permitted.
