What is IMPRO LAB
IMPRO LAB is an improvised theatre session where the audience writes down words, phrases or situations on paper, which the actors from Laboratorio Impro turn into comic scenes on the spot. According to Kaf Café, the dynamic involves attendees proposing challenges—from an everyday object to an emotion or a place—and the quintet of improvisers developing them without a script, generating laughs with their creativity and speed.
Who performs
The company Laboratorio Impro, an improvisation theatre school run by the collective SUBIT!, is responsible for leading the session. For this edition of IMPRO LAB, a quintet of improvisers will perform—as announced on their Instagram profile—though their individual names are not listed. The company also organises training workshops and improvisation leagues in Valencia.
