Industrial Landscapes in Transformation
Alba Cabrera Gallery inaugurates on 20 September 2026 Huellas de papel, an exhibition by Valencian artist Antonio Alcaraz reinterpreting abandoned industrial spaces. Through photography, drawing, and materials such as translucent supports or metal structures, Alcaraz creates compositions that oscillate between the documentary and the artistic, rescuing the memory of disused factories, bridges, and chimneys.
Alcaraz’s work goes beyond merely documenting these places: he decontextualises them using techniques like backlighting or layer superimposition, producing images that evoke architectural plans or forgotten cartographies. The result is a reflection on the aesthetic, historical, and social value of a heritage at risk of disappearing, threatened by urban speculation and territorial transformation.
Admission is free and no booking is required. The exhibition will remain open at the gallery during the weeks following its opening, within the space’s regular hours.
