What is the HCC Hub Cultural Cabanyal
The HCC Hub Cultural Cabanyal is a municipal project managed by Pro21cultural that transforms the Centre Cultural La Reina 121 into a meeting point for Valencia’s Maritime District. Its goal is to build networks between local associations, creators, SMEs and residents, using culture as a tool for civic participation. Since opening in May 2024, the space has offered free activities for all ages, including concerts, theatre, dance, storytelling, workshops, reading clubs and exhibitions.
Programme and activities
The hub’s agenda features diverse monthly events. In October 2026, for example, it will host performing arts shows like Empar by Pepa Gómez and Ana Sánchez or Tentación Divina by MaiClown, as well as stand-up comedy sessions such as the Open de Comedia with Rocío Ladrón de Guevara. Exhibitions like Cigarreres valencianes: l’última generació highlight the legacy of women in Valencia’s tobacco industry. Music plays a central role, with formats like Acústics de La Reina 121, where local artists perform intimate versions of their repertoires.
Access and requirements
All HCC Hub Cultural Cabanyal activities are free and open to the public without prior booking, unless stated otherwise in the programme. The centre is designed to encourage community participation, with no age restrictions or specific requirements. Its community-led approach prioritises accessibility and local engagement, tailoring activities to the neighbourhood’s needs.
