What’s on stage
El escondite de la abuela is a theatre and puppetry show aimed at families with children aged 4+. Created by La Tartana Teatro, the performance is inspired by a universal legend found in various cultures: a tyrannical king orders the elderly to be abandoned at 70, but two brothers hide their mother. When a neighbouring kingdom threatens war and poses three impossible riddles, the grandmother’s wisdom saves the entire village. With a message about the value of memory and experience, the show reflects on the dignity of older people.
