What is Bandes a Les Arts
Bandes a Les Arts is a concert series organised by Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in collaboration with the Federación de Sociedades Musicales de la Comunitat Valenciana (FSMCV). In its 15th edition, the programme celebrates the role of Valencian music bands with six performances in the Auditori, spread across three Sundays: 11 April, 23 and 30 May 2027. Each day features two concerts—at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM—performed by musical societies from different localities, with a repertoire linked to the centre’s artistic programming.
Programme and participants
The cycle’s sessions do not follow a fixed programme: each concert is led by an invited musical society, selected by the FSMCV. According to Palau de les Arts, the works performed are related to the season’s theme, though specific titles are not detailed on the official website. On 9 May 2027, an extraordinary concert by the Banda Sinfónica del Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo de València is scheduled to take place in the same Auditorium.
Schedule and access
Performances are estimated to last 90 minutes, without an interval. Tickets for each session will go on sale one week before the corresponding date: 5 April for the 11 April concerts, 17 May for those on 23 May, and 24 May for the 30 May performances.
