Sir John Eliot Gardiner conducts the OCV: Beethoven, Mahler and Sibelius at Les Arts

On 4 March 2027, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía hosts a symphonic concert featuring the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana (OCV) conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner. The programme includes three works:

Leonore Overture No. 2, Op. 72a by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed for his opera Fidelio (1805).
Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler, a song cycle performed by mezzo-soprano Alice Coote.
Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 43 by Jean Sibelius (1901–1902).
