Teatre El Musical (TEM) is the Cabanyal's municipal theatre, on Plaça del Rosari. It began in the 1920s as the home of the Patronato Musical of Pueblo Nuevo del Mar, later became the El Musical cinema, and in 2004 was rebuilt inside behind its original façade, with its triumphal arch and the tallest door in the city. It has 403 seats and since 2015 has programmed theatre, dance, circus and music, from copla to the Banda Simfònica Municipal and the Volumens festival.
