Teatro Olympia opened on Carrer de Sant Vicent Màrtir on 10 November 1915 with a staging of The Barber of Seville. From 1924 it ran for over fifty years as a cinema, returning to theatre use in 1984. Today it programmes mostly comedy, stand-up and touring companies.
