What you’ll learn in the workshop
The «Tapestry Creation» workshop teaches basic loom weaving techniques to design and create a custom decorative tapestry. Over the sessions, participants will explore the use of colour, textures, and composition, learning how to combine materials and craft techniques. The goal is for each attendee to complete their own piece, applying what they’ve learned in a hands-on project.
Who teaches the workshop and who it’s for
The workshop is led by Mariaté Caicedo, whose experience in weaving and crafts ensures an accessible learning experience for all levels. No prior knowledge is required: it’s open to anyone interested in textile art, from beginners to those looking to deepen their tapestry techniques. La Casa de Patraix highlights it as an ideal space to «learn without stopping», as reflected in its diverse workshop programme.
