What the festival includes
Miradors de l’Horta is an annual event that since 2018 has promoted the culture and landscape of L’Horta del Carraixet, the best-preserved huerta in the metropolitan area of Valencia. Over 14 days, the following activities are organised:
- Ephemeral design: temporary artistic installations in the huerta.
- Live music: performances by local and regional artists.
- Bike routes: guided tours along the huerta’s paths.
- Tastings: stalls with local products such as horchata, vegetables and cured meats.
- Family activities: children’s workshops and traditional games.
Schedule and access
The festival takes place from 17 to 30 October 2026 in the municipalities of Alfara del Patriarca, Bonrepòs i Mirambell, Foios and Vinalesa. Activities do not have a fixed schedule: routes and tastings are usually held in the morning or afternoon, while music is concentrated in the evenings and at night. All activities are free, but some routes or workshops may require prior registration due to limited capacity. The detailed programme with schedules and meeting points is published on the event’s official website.
The setting
L’Horta del Carraixet, which covers these four municipalities, is one of the last areas of traditional huerta still preserved in Valencia, with irrigation channels, farmhouses and seasonal crops.
