What the round table will analyse
The round table «Classics of Spanish Cinema: «El pisito»» commemorates the centenary of screenwriter Rafael Azcona and the 68th anniversary of Marco Ferreri’s 1958 film. The seminar examines the work as a reflection of post-war Spanish social cinema, its adaptation of Azcona’s homonymous novel, and its influence on contemporary film. According to the Valencian Institute of Culture, the programme includes screenings of the film and debates on its historical and artistic context.
