What’s being performed
«¡Quién diablos sabe!» is a post-apocalyptic tragicomedy inspired by An Old-Fashioned Comedy by Russian playwright Aleksandr Arbúzov. The play transports a ninety-year-old Adam and Eve—played by Dmitri Nazárov and Olga Vasílieva—to a ruined world after the collapse of civilisation. With irony and tenderness, it explores how two survivors, marked by loneliness and distrust, relearn to love each other and give humanity a second chance. The show retains Arbúzov’s original tone but adapts it to a reality where hope stems from closeness, not heroism.
Who’s performing
The play stars Dmitri Nazárov and Olga Vasílieva, two Russian actors with distinguished careers in theatre and film. Nazárov is known for his versatility in Russian classics and contemporary works, while Vasílieva has appeared in productions ranging from drama to satirical comedy. According to La Rambleta, the duo successfully conveys the emotional complexity of characters who, despite their age, discover it’s never too late to start over.
