What is Manual de Desobediencia
Manual de Desobediencia is a programme by Radio Ruzafa that defines itself as personal and political, with feminism and class consciousness as its cornerstones. For 25N, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the show leaves the studio and is recorded in front of a live audience at CC Nave3 Ribes.
This special edition revolves around one question: what forms does violence against women take, and how can it be combated through critical awareness and collective action? The approach, according to the organisers, is to analyse current affairs, challenge the structures that perpetuate inequality, and advocate for policies that defend women’s rights, all from a critical and non-partisan perspective.
How the live show works
The live recording of Manual de Desobediencia follows a late-show format with an audience in the venue. It kicks off with «Opinólogas», the programme’s opening segment, followed by interviews with various guests who address the different forms of violence experienced by women from diverse perspectives.
This is a proposal aimed at radio listeners, people interested in feminism and social debate, and anyone who wants to see how a radio programme is put together live on 25N.
