What is Ficción Expandida with Claudia Costafreda

Ficción Expandida with Claudia Costafreda is a talk from the cycle led by screenwriter David Pascual (Mr. Perfumme), where the director of series such as Cardo (Feroz Awards 2022) and Veneno (2020) will analyze how audiovisual storytelling pushes the boundaries of narrative. The event will cover the impact of streaming on story creation, the challenges of the genre, and building a unique voice that reflects the contradictions of a generation.

Costafreda, co-creator of titles like Superestar (2025) and Yo siempre a veces (2026), will present her latest project, Crimen en España (Atresplayer), a series blending thriller, psychological terror, and fantasy. According to Fundación Cañada Blanch, the conversation will use this work to explore how contemporary audiovisual storytelling mixes genres and formats to tell stories.
