What will be performed
The choir Cor Veus de Serreria performs excerpts from the lyrical-sacred drama El Rey de Judá, a work that evokes the traditional nativity scene performances in Valencia, particularly those held at the Teatre Patronat and other locations. The repertoire revives musical numbers from this genre, linked to Christmas festivities and Valencian popular culture.
Who is performing
The concert is performed by Cor Veus de Serreria, a local choir that recovers and promotes pieces from Valencia’s musical heritage. The group, specialised in choral repertoires, focuses in this case on a work with historical roots in the city, adapted for all audiences.
