What is the Dialogue on Queer Cinema
The Dialogue on Queer Cinema is a conversation between the collectives Palomitas Lesbianas and Cinema del Barri, included in the programme of the 41 Mostra de València - Cinema del Mediterrani. According to Palau de la Música, both groups will discuss queer representation in cinema and how films are programmed and shared from neighbourhoods and communities.
The Palau presents it as an open meeting between two ways of bringing cinema to audiences: on one hand, the focus on LGBTQ+ visibility on screen; on the other, the experience of taking screenings to local and community spaces.
Which festival it is part of
The 41 Mostra de València - Cinema del Mediterrani runs from 3 to 15 November 2026 across various venues in the city. During the festival, Palau de la Música hosts Espai Mostra, a space for public meetings, podcasts, and presentations, where this talk is framed.
Prices and tickets
The Dialogue on Queer Cinema is free entry until full capacity, according to the Palau’s website. The organisers note that the programme may be subject to changes.
