What the workshop explores
The workshop «Ni una palabra vacía» offers a creative writing space focused on identity, a theme Gabriella Nuru approaches through questions like Who are we when no one is watching? or How much of ourselves is in what we choose? During the session, texts by authors such as Fernando Pessoa (who turned identity into a hall of mirrors), Gloria Anzaldúa (who explored cultural borders), and Walt Whitman (who celebrated the multiplicity of the self) will be analysed. Participants will write about the masks they wear, the labels that define them, or the parts of themselves they have yet to discover, using writing as a tool for self-discovery.
How the session unfolds
The activity will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00, at La Casa de Patraix. The format combines reading literary texts, collective reflection, and individual writing exercises. No prior experience is required: the workshop is open to anyone interested in exploring their identity through words. According to the venue’s agenda, the session includes a mandatory consumption (not included in the ticket price).
Prices and requirements
The workshop costs 20 €, plus the cost of the consumption. The ticket grants access to the two-hour activity, writing materials, and the opportunity to share texts in a trusting environment. No minimum age is specified, but the focus is on adults due to the depth of the topics covered.
