What’s being screened
The Miércoles de Stromboli film club presents «La petite voleuse», a 1988 French film directed by Claude Miller. It’s a coming-of-age story about rebellion and self-discovery set in 1950s France.
The film follows a young girl trying to carve her own path in a world that seems to have already decided her future. It explores themes of freedom, adolescence, and self-construction, with a delicate and intimate tone that closely follows its protagonist.
How the session works
The screening of «La petite voleuse» at CC Nave3 Ribes will conclude with an open debate moderated by Dani "Stromboli" Gascó, as is customary at each Miércoles de Stromboli event. This film club format combines the screening with a space for conversation, where the audience can discuss the film, its context, and its themes.
This session is part of the club’s current cycle dedicated to French cinema, featuring a late-1980s title by Claude Miller.
