What you’ll do in the workshop
The beeswax candle workshop teaches how to craft handmade candles using natural beeswax, an eco-friendly and aromatic material. Participants will learn basic modelling and melting techniques to create their own candles, following the traditional process promoted by Apicultura Urbana València. No prior knowledge is required, and the workshop is designed to be accessible for ages 12 and up.

The workshop is organised by Apicultura Urbana València, a project specialising in sustainable beekeeping and raising awareness about bees. It’s aimed at participants aged 12 and over, with no upper age limit, and no prior experience in crafts or beekeeping is needed. The approach is hands-on and participatory, perfect for those looking for a creative and unique activity.
Price and requirements
The workshop costs €45 and includes all materials needed to make the candles. Tickets are non-refundable and subject to limited capacity. Participants must be aged 12 or over; children under 12 are not permitted without an accompanying adult.
