Teatro Círculo opened in 1993 in Velluters with the Círculo del Arte en la Escena company and has been in Benimaclet, on Carrer de Prudenci Alcón i Mateu, since 2014. It is a room, a company and a creation centre at once: it produces its own work — Beckett, Ionesco, Pinter, Liddell — hosts residencies and workshops, and programmes contemporary theatre Thursday to Sunday, with reduced prices for students and theatre professionals.
