The XIV Carrera de Empresas València 2027 is a corporate sporting event for employees competing in two certified distances (5K and 10K) on May 2, starting from Avenida Maestro Rodrigo. Organised by Grupo Nostresport, it expects to surpass 12,000 participants.

What is the Carrera de Empresas València

The XIV Carrera de Empresas València 2027 is a corporate sports event that combines athletics with the business world. Created in 2012 by Grupo Nostresport, the race is aimed at employees who balance their professional lives with running, known as runnkers. In 2026, it broke its record with 10,577 runners from 750 companies, and for 2027, the organisers expect to exceed 12,000 participants.

Distances and route

The race offers two modalities certified by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo:

  • 10 kilometres: starts at 09:00 from Avenida Maestro Rodrigo, 82A.
  • 5 kilometres: starts at 09:30 from the same point.

Both routes run through avenues such as General Avilés and Pío Baroja, finishing at the same Avenida Maestro Rodrigo. The organisation provides a 14,000 m² Running Village with services for participants and companions.

Registration and requirements

The event is open to corporate teams (minimum 3 runners per company) and individual participants who wish to join under a company’s umbrella. Registration includes:

  • Personalised race number.
  • Accident insurance.
  • Refreshments during and after the race.
  • Access to the Running Village with parallel activities.

According to the official regulations, participants must present ID and company authorisation (for corporate teams) when collecting their race number. There is no age limit, but minors under 16 require parental consent.

Objective and values

The race promotes sports values—such as teamwork and self-improvement—applied to the workplace. Additionally, part of the proceeds is donated to social projects, such as the €10,423 contribution to ASPANION in 2026. The event includes pre-race talks, like the Jornada Runnker Deporte y Empresa, which in previous editions featured elite athletes like Carlos Tatay.
