What is Slow Falles
«Slow Falles» is a round table included in the XXII Converses Les Falles al Peset, the series of talks on the festival hosted by the Col·legi Major Rector Peset at the University of Valencia. This edition’s lineup features two debates, «Slow Falles» and «Fast Falles», with graphic imagery contrasting hand-modeled figures against a robotic arm carving a block—a hint at the underlying theme: craftsmanship versus new monument production processes. According to the event’s promotional material, the conversations aim to discuss changes in the world of Fallas.
Who is taking part
The Slow Falles round table features Tono Herrero and Toni Colomina, alongside AdEF and a group of fallas artists: Pilar Luna, María José Luna, Vicente Lorenzo, and Vicente Vendrell. It’s an opportunity to hear directly from professionals who build monuments and voices that analyze the festival from outside the workshop.
