Who is Sanisidro
Sanisidro is the solo project of Isidro Rubio, a Valencian musician who began his career in punk and rock bands. After years of playing in groups, in 2014 he decided to explore music creation on his own, free from collective dynamics. His debut album, a lo pesau, a lo bajo y a lo llano (2020), released by the US label Slovenly Recordings, marked the start of a genre-free proposal, where mid-tempos and emotional depth prevail.
In 2023, Sanisidro signed with La Castanya and released SAMBORI, an album that solidifies his style: intimate songs with careful arrangements, far removed from the noise of his punk roots. Rubio composes, records, and produces everything himself, prioritising creative freedom over conventions.
