On 25 October 2026, La Rambleta hosts Rock en Familia: Discovering Extremoduro, a family concert where a live band reinterprets Extremoduro’s songs with lyrics adapted for all ages, games, and fun anecdotes about the band. Recommended for children aged 3 and up.

What is Discovering Extremoduro

Rock en Familia: Discovering Extremoduro is a family-friendly concert that brings the repertoire of the Extremaduran band to parents and children. A live band performs their most iconic songs with lyrics adapted for all audiences, removing any controversial verses. The show includes games, interactive activities, and storytelling about Extremoduro, led by El Oso Rosendo and other puppets from the Rockilandia universe, created by the production company Rock en Familia.

Who’s performing and what’s included

The music is performed by a live band that recreates Extremoduro’s sound, while puppets like El Oso Rosendo guide the narration and activities. According to the organisers, the goal is for families to "shout together as loud as possible" the chorus of Ama, ama y ensancha el alma. This isn’t a typical tribute concert but an interactive experience designed for all generations to enjoy together.

Timings and duration

The concert starts at 12:00 and lasts 70 minutes, with no interval.

Prices and tickets

  • General admission: €15 (plus €2 booking fee online or at the box office).
  • 3-person pack (minimum 1 child): €41.50 (plus €6 fees).
  • 2 adults + 2 children pack: €54 (plus €8 fees).

Tickets are validated via QR code sent by email—no need to print them. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (parent, legal guardian, or authorised person). Those aged 14 to 16 require a parental consent form, available for download on the La Rambleta website.

Access and requirements

The show is recommended for children aged 3 and up. The organisers emphasise that this is a family activity, not a traditional concert—audience participation (singing, dancing, interacting with the puppets) is a key part of the experience. Check how to get there on the La Rambleta venue page.
