Who is Rob Leines
Rob Leines is one of the most compelling names in the new generation of American country and roots rock. Before pursuing music full-time, he worked as a welder—a background that deeply influences his songwriting, filling his music with stories of hard work, the open road, and human relationships. His sound, which blends outlaw country, southern rock, and rock & roll, stands out for its authenticity and deep connection to the genre’s traditions, avoiding any hint of nostalgia.
His career took off with the album Blood Sweat and Beers, which earned him opportunities to tour alongside artists like Dwight Yoakam and The Mavericks. Since then, he has built his reputation on the road, becoming a staple in the American roots music scene. His album Headcase, recorded with Mike Harmeier (Silverada) and Adam Odor, captures the energy of a band that thrives on touring and live performances.
