What is «Recuerdo Sonoro»
«Recuerdo Sonoro» is a documentary concert by the duo Alejandro y María Laura, combining live music, photographs, testimonies and personal objects to reconstruct their experience during the DANA storm that hit the Valencian Community on 29 October 2024. Created by the Peruvian singer-songwriters based in Paiporta, the show goes beyond a traditional concert by integrating visual and narrative elements that contextualise the songs.
Who are Alejandro y María Laura

Their style blends folk, trova and Latin American sounds, with lyrics addressing social, migratory and historical memory themes. In «Recuerdo Sonoro», their artistic proposal focuses on the 2024 climate disaster, using their personal experience as a narrative thread.
